At “Beautiful Minds Matter”, we believe in the power of healing through connection, compassion, and understanding. Our one-to-one therapeutic support is designed to offer a safe, warm, and confidential space for individuals experiencing the psychological impacts of trauma—particularly symptoms such as Stress, Anxiety, Depression, and feelings of being overwhelmed.
These emotional and mental health challenges are not weaknesses, but signs of Psychological wounds – that deserve care, attention, and professional support.
Trauma, often buried beneath the surface, can manifest in many forms and disrupt everyday life. Through Trauma-informed Therapy, we gently support our clients in exploring the root causes of their distress, empowering them to reconnect with their Physical and Psychological Well-Being.
Our approach focuses not only on managing symptoms but on long-term healing and resilience. Clients are supported to understand their experiences, build inner strength, and develop healthy coping strategies to sustain a balanced and fulfilling life. At the heart of this service is Christina, is a deeply empathetic, kind, and non-judgemental therapist who brings both professional expertise and heartfelt compassion to every session. Over a cup of tea and a biscuit.
I want to sincerely thank you for the guidance, compassion, and support you’ve given me throughout my journey. Your trauma-informed approach to stress management has helped me feel seen, heard, and understood in ways I never thought possible.
You’ve provided a safe space where I could begin to heal, and your patience and insight have made a profound difference in my life. Because of your care, I’m learning how to manage my stress more effectively, and I’m beginning to reconnect with parts of myself that trauma had silenced. I’m truly grateful for your presence and professionalism. Thank you for walking alongside me during some of the most difficult moments—I carry the strength and tools you’ve helped me build with deep love and appreciatio

I am a single mum with 3 children and Christina has been working with all my children after my Ex-partner/ children’s dad of 16 years left me and the children. This caused many issues with the kids including an eating disorder, self-harm, separation anxiety, depression, abandonment issues, school issues, nightmares and more. Christina was amazing!
She incorporated play therapy for my young child, walks, games, talking all in their sessions and all age appropriate. She would then be able to communicate with me on how best to navigate through it all while keeping things confidential. So, I was getting support on how to best support the children. I really don’t know how I would have gotten through all that we have as a family without her! She is excellent, keep up the good work! And thank you for everything.

I started seeing Christina 3 years ago in Thurso, she was highly recommended to me by a medical professional. I was extremely nervous to make the first step in speaking to someone. But very quickly Christina made me feel comfortable so I booked an appointment to meet with her in person.
